Who We Are
Edified CBO is a registered Community Based Organisation located in Korando B, Kisumu West, Kisumu County, Kenya. We exist to empower children, youth, and caregivers channelling sport, education, mentorship, and life skills into purposeful lives. We keep young people engaged, equipped, and firmly on the path to a brighter future

OUR PROGRAMMES
- Edified FC is our community football club open to all age groups, from the youngest talent to seasoned youth players. Currently running a strong U-15 squad, we are growing to include U-13, U-17, and beyond as our community expands. Our players need jerseys, boots, and equipment to train and compete with pride. Sport is not a luxury it is a classroom on grass
- Edified Funds Drive
We drive education support for 12 children through school covering fees, stationery, and learning materials. Each sponsorship is a hand stretched across a gap that no child should fall into alone.
- Youth Resource Hub
The Edified Youth Resource Hub will be a safe, welcoming space for children and youth to read, grow, and thrive. It will be stocked with story books and library materials to nurture a love of reading; art supplies for creative expression; sports and play equipment for recreation and physical wellness; and digital literacy resources to prepare young people for the modern world. Above all, it will be a space that promotes psychological wellness — a safe haven for young people away from idleness and negative influences, Your support will help bring this vision to life.
- Life Skills & Mental Wellness
We equip young people and young mothers with essential life skills to position them for income generation and enhance their employability covering financial literacy, emotional resilience, character development, peer mentorship, ICT skills, and career guidance
- Child, Youth & Caregiver Mentorship
We walk alongside children, youth, and parents/caregivers through mentorship, community outreaches, civic education, health forums, and income-generating activity training because strong families build strong communities.
- Child Protection & Gender Rights Advocacy
We are committed to safeguarding the rights and dignity of every child and young person in our community. Through awareness campaigns, community education, and advocacy, we speak up against child abuse, neglect, and gender-based discrimination creating a community where every child is safe, valued, and protected. We work to ensure that children and young people know their rights and have trusted adults to turn to.
- Spiritual Nurture & Transformational Discipleship
Rooted in the Christian faith, we walk with young people in their spiritual journey providing Biblical grounding and faith-based discipleship that shapes godly character, sound values, and purposeful living. We believe that a young person anchored in faith is better equipped to navigate life’s challenges and contribute positively to their community.
